Theresa Gregor's Medical Bills

On July 30, 2013, at the age of 27 , Theresa was diagnosed with stage 2 bladder cancer. On September 27, 2013 she started her first rounds of radiation and chemotherapy. Due to complications of needing addional treatments through October 2014. In April 2015, 9 months into remission she went in for a routine checkup. She recieved an answer she wasn't expecting. There were 2 masses found and the doctor wanted both tested right away. After days of waiting the results were positive with stage 2 cancer. Her course of treatment is radiation 2 times a week for 4 weeks, which are done in Green Bay. When Theresa has doctor's appointments or scans she drives to Oshkosh because that is where her primary oncologist's offices is. Unfortunately, due to insurance the closest place for treatments is Green Bay that falls in her network. After these rounds of radiation, surgery maybe needed to remove some of the bladder or the possibility more radiation.
While going through all of this, Theresa is working not one, but two jobs to pay for medical bills, living expensives, and to take care of her two children, Zachary age 12 and Makayla age 4. Her full time job is at the Manitowoc County Domestic Violence Center & Sexual Assault Resource Center working as a Sexual Assault Prevention Educator & Advocate. She helps sexual assault survivors and is very active in the community helping bring awareness of sexual assault and going in to the schools and colleges teaching the students about healthy relationships and protective behaviors. Her part-time job is at the YMCA working at the front desk and as a Zumba instructor. Theresa is that smilely face you see when you walk through the doors with a welcoming "hello. Theresa is one of strongest women I know. She always makes sure her children are taken care of and others ahead of herself.
Theresa is thankful for anyone taking the time to read her story. Even if a monetary contribution isn't given prayers are greatly needed also.
