The Memo Foundation Phase 2

Donation protected
This foundation has been started in honor of Brandon “Memo” Kluz.  Memo was a long time Milford local and skateboarder. He was killed in November 2018 and we, "The Memo Foundation", are raising funds in his honor to further enhance the Milford Skatepark in his memory.

We are a group of skateboarders, bikers, family, and friends who were greatly affected by Memo. We want to build him something that will further his spirit of skateboarding, friendship, and community for future generations to enjoy. The bowl required 92 thousand dollars and with donations of time, equipment and materials. We built a bowl to skate for years to come. This second phase may allow us to build more features and make further improvements to Memo's hometown skatepark. We have the support of the Milford Lion's Club, Parks and Recreation, and Milford's Board of Selectmen. We will be starting construction of Phase 2 after the fundraising has been completed.

This will open the foundation up to our "Phase TWO" of further improvements and repairs to the existing park at Keys Field. We are looking into Lighting the skatepark at night. And also building more features to improve Memo's hometown skatepark. Artisan has done a great job on our Bowl and we will be hiring them again for further improvements.
