Hi everyone,
This is the war chest for The Well Told Tale!
My vision for the Well Told Tale is to narrate the best Science Fiction, Fantasy and speculative Fiction stories ever written, and provide them free for everyone in weekly installments.
Many classic stories are now in the public domain so I can use them without any copyright issues, but I would love to also be able to read you amazing stories that are still in copyright. This includes classic novels or short stories from the late twentieth century and twenty-first century.
And for this, we will need to be able to buy serial rights from the author or author's estate.
The amounts will vary considerably from piece to piece. Some may be really quit expensive indeed. So I thought I'd set up a GoFundMe for a war-chest of sorts; every penny raised here will be used exclusively to buy rights for me to narrate classic modern science fiction and fantasy stories on The Well Told Tale.
There's no time limit here and definitely no hard sell from me.
But if you're as passionate about great stories as I am and would like to contribute to making this a reality; that would be wonderful.
