My name is Paul and I am currently on dialysis due to having kidney failure, whereby I go to the Warragul dialysis unit 3 days a week. October is kidney awareness month and each year they have Red socks run challenge, over the month people set themselves a challenge to raise funds, generally by the kilometre they run.
I have decided to do something a bit different, I am going to swim laps at the Warragul leisure centre and my goal is to swim 20-25 kilometres over the month wearing red socks. As I am at dialysis 3 days a week I only have the 4 days of the week to complete this challenge, which means I have to average 1250meters minimum per swim to achieve this goal.
I have set a target of $50000 all funds going to Warragul dialysis unit
