The Mervin’s

Jack and Dawn Mervin (and daughter Hailey) are long time Blanchard residents who are always there to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. They have been members of the Blanchard community for many years. Now they need our help. Last night we had a severe windstorm which literally ripped the entire roof off of the Mervin’s home. It’s getting cold out and they are forced to stay in a home with nothing but tarps over their heads. Dawn is currently undergoing cancer treatment which compromises her immune system and leaves her at high risk for infection. Anyone would agree that a cancer patient should not be living under these conditions, nor should a child. So neighbors I’m asking you all to pull together and help them purchase the materials to put a new roof over their heads. These are hard working kind people who could really use our help. Let’s show them how we pull together as a community and support eachother.
