The loss of our friend, Joe Putignano

How do you tell a story of an amazing human being in such a small space? Joe Putignano was a man of many talents from Olympic hopeful to Cirque du Soleil performer and published author, but the talent most fulfilling to him was his ability to be a wonderful husband and friend. On September 27th the universe gained a star too early when Joe's bright light on earth went dim. He leaves behind his loving husband Josh, and his Beagle pups Pasta and Shadow. Joe quickly became our friend as he worked through the ups and downs of creating his nursing career, his jokes, his smile, and his laugh will forever be missed. Just as Joe became one of us, so did his tiny family and as nurses, we take every chance we can to take care of our own.. Please, if able, consider a donation to help Josh through these times, it's the least we can do, in memory of our Boston boy.
