I am looking forward to our second annual Night of Tennis. We are raising money to benefit the Limb Preservation Fund.
Almost one year ago I was diagnosed with a chondro sarcoma in my right elbow. This is a malignant tumor of the cartilage that was breaking through my elbow. I underwent an 8 hour surgery to replace my elbow with a donor elbow. My family and I thank gd every day that the surgery was a success and I am cancer free.
My surgery was a success because of the amazing talent of my surgeon Dr. John Healey. Dr. Healey is world renowned for his limb saving and cancer eliminating surgery techniques. Dr. Healey saved my right arm.
The Limb Preservation Fund is Dr. Healeys organization that raises money for research in cutting edge limb and mobility saving techniques when treating the very rare cartilage and bone cancers.
My event will be held on Saturday September 16th from 4:00 -6:00 pm. at Christopher Morley Tennis
500 Searingtown Road, Roslyn NY.
There will be round robin tennis drills with pros and refreshments!
All ages are welcome!
