The Life & Legacy of Rosie Herrera
Donazione protetta
Rosie Herrera was a force of nature. She danced into and lit up every room she entered.
She lived a life of service as an Educator for 45 years in the Azusa Unified School District (Teacher for 20 years and classroom aide for 25), as a Recreation Leader for the City of Azusa and touched thousands of lives.
Within one week of being diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, Rosie passed away peacefully surrounded by love at home surrounded by her immediate family.
Rosie is survived by her children (Marissa and Dominique), husband (Wesley), twin sister (Linda), sisters (Martha and MaryAnn) and extended family.
Rosie lived a life full of joy, music, dancing, cooking for her loved ones and spending time at her happy place- the beach. Her life and legacy in Education and the love she gave all that crossed her path will live on forever.
The family is humbly requesting support to plan her Celebration of Life and Memorial Services. Any additional funds will be used to establish "The Rose Herrera Educational Scholarship Fund" for young Latinas pursuing higher education.
The family thanks you in advance for your love and support.
