The Klembus fight

Michael began his fighting journey on June 30th while cutting the grass. He got very winded and was instructed to go the the emergency room as his oxygen saturation was at 83%. During this visit he was found to have had several blood clots in his legs, lungs and arteries as well as a mass located in his left lung. After 6 days in critical care and visits from cardiology, pulmonologist, internist, and more shocking an oncologist, he was able to go home. He was found to have lung cancer after a biopsy which was hard to swallow, but we remained positive. Next came the PET SCAN and brain MRI. The results of the scan uncovered the cancer has spread from his lung to his liver, kidney, pancreas,  abdomen, ribs, and his brain. he was given the  prognosis of six months of life without treatment, and with maintenance chemo and radiation one year possibly two if all organs responded the best possible way they could. (That’s the short and sweet version). If you know our family, you know we are very close knit and he is our rock. Everyone he meets he leaves a lasting impression, and without a doubt the toughest and kindest man I know. Even through all of this he is worried about his family and not himself. He is a fighter and we will not stop no matter the cost. I am starting this as a way to hopefully take some of the burden of finances off of my mom so she can do what she does best , focus on our dad. With that being said our Mom is right there with my dad for one of the strongest  women I know.  Every little bit helps especially or more importantly your prayers, as god has the ability to heal all. I never knew what strong was, until I saw strong in my parents through this battle for life. We will kick cancers ass!
