The Barr Family’s Altadena Home Burned Down

Donation protected
Our family, who lived in their house in Altadena, California since the 1960s, has had their home completely burned down. On 1/8/25, the Eaton Canyon fires in LA wiped out the area, and their entire neighborhood is gone. They lost everything in their home and they're currently staying in a hotel. Our 87-year-old grandmother and aunt, who are handicapped and disabled, fortunately made it out safely, but their home and sanctuary that they built to accommodate their special needs is now rubble on the ground. Any donation helps us get them the necessities they need and will go towards their recovery during this dark time. Family and community are important now more than ever, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for anything you can give. We pray for you all and for those affected by this ongoing tragedy in Los Angeles. Thank you everyone. - Margarita
