The Allen Farmstead

On the 16th of January 2020, Craig Allen and his grandson Tyler Bragg lost their home and all of their belongings in a tragic home fire. The home, the Allen Farmstead, was known near and far as place of friendship and embodied the true meaning of community.  Craig is a kind man who would do anything he can for others, especially when it comes to farming and making sure people are fed. The house has offered a warm bed to many, a full freezer, and all the veggies you could fit in a car.

Thankfully, neither Craig nor Tyler were home when the fire started at around 5:00 PM.  By 11 PM, all the effort of the 7 fire departments who showed up could not save the residence, although they did save the barn and livestock.  The fire left the property without power and a working water pump, and a massive cleanup that will take some time before we can start the rebuild process. 

We are hoping to raise money to help the Allen family begin the rebuilding process.  If you would like to help, please, the best way is to donate to this fund.
