The 444 Run

Hi, my name is Ben Welch - ( Mino )

The 444 Run - Minos mission for Jai and Zac

March the 7th 2025 will mark 10 years since I lost my older brother Jai in a tragic ski racing accident. He passed in the Mildura Hospital.

In October 2022 I also lost my younger brother Zac to suicide in Echuca.

His favourite number was #444.

in their honour I will be running 380kms from Mildura to Echuca

I am aiming to run the 380kms in 4 days 4

hours and 44 minutes. #444

This will consist of 4 days of 85 kilometres and a final day of 42 kilometres - 9 Marathons in total.

Zac's passing has confirmed to me the importance of mental health support and early identification.

All funds raised from the run will be donated evenly to 3 Headspace centres Echuca - Swan Hill and Mildura.

The aim being to help as many kids as possible from my region with early intervention of mental health issues before it becomes a larger issue.

This money will go directly to helping kids aged 12 - 25 years old in these 3 centres combat anxiety and associated mental health problems.

The run will commence on the 3rd of March 2025 in Mildura and conclude in Echuca on March 7th 2025 - Jai's 10-year anniversary.

I have some great people supporting me in this fundraiser and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
