Pete Carroll brought Seattle our first Super Bowl championship and instilled a culture of excellence. I want to thank him from all the 12s with a full page ad in The Seattle Times.

In talking to The Seattle Times media department, a print full page ad on Monday in the Sports section in color would be $7000. On Sunday, it would be $9,000 - given the enthusiasm and support of everyone here, I have upped to goal to $9,000 so we are now shooting for Sunday!

. Adding a photograph isn't impossible, but may take a couple weeks for clearances. They said they would help with the design.

As for the text, I'm open to all ideas. Here is a first draft:
