The Barnes Family

Hi, my name is Katie Crandell. I am Maggie’s sister in law (sister to Marshall). I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds to support the Barnes family as they begin the fight against cancer.

Maggie began having knee pain a few months ago that eventually lead her to going to the Dr on March 1st. After an x-ray they saw a mass in her left tibia that required additional testing. After 4 separate biopsies of the mass, including a bone marrow biopsy after her P.E.T. Scan. On April 18, Maggie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.

Maggie will be undergoing chemotherapy over the next 6 months starting on May 10th, and will be unable to work during this time and possibly beyond depending on how she is feeling after chemo.

With the loss of her income for their family, and Marshall needing to take some time off as well, it is time for family and friends to rally behind them and take the burden off of their shoulders. The only thing they should be focused on for the next few months is their health! Please help any way you can! Every little bit helps!

The funds will be used to cover the medical bills from the continuing tests, procedures, chemo, and future scans.
