TEAM SMOTHERS FIGHTS BACK

My dad, Jim smothers, who is 72 years old had a serious accident on november 26th, 2019. He fell from a 25 ft. Roof and is currently in ICU. Due to the fall, he broke both hips, his ribs, and has a thoracic fracture in his back. He has had to have multiple surgeries due to the severity of his injuries. The recovery process for my father will be extensive and long term. Due to this, he will be unable to work. My father is the strongest, most hard working person I know. My father is a vietnam veteran who served two tours. He was honorably discharged in 1968 and received A combat infantry badge, Vietnam commendation, arm commendation medal, a Purple Heart, an army air medal with 13 oak leaf clusters, and two bronze stars. He began teaching martial arts in 1968 and has also been working construction/maintenance for over 5 years. His students and anyone who has ever come in contact with him would tell you how much of an impact he has made in their lives. He is selfless and always willing to help someone in need & never asks for anything in return. If you would like to donate to help him with expenses for the time being, we would be forever grateful!
