Team Luv'n Life 2.0 (Sam's Squad)

Sam Hess, fabulous and inspiring teacher, coach, friend, husband, brother, godfather, uncle, son...., was diagnosed with epithelioid sarcoma (rare soft tissue cancer) in January 2022.

Since that time, Sam has been through oral chemo treatment, 6 IV chemo treatments requiring hospital stays, many many many appts at Hershey Cancer Institute/Medical Center and in NY City at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center due to the rareness of the cancer.

After Sam's most recent (#6) chemo treatment, he is now in NY attending appts to prepare for surgery to remove the tumor(s). This will require several weeks of being in NY City. As well as, the unknown medical plan post surgery...whether more chemo, etc.

His wife, Maegen, has not left his side and has been with him for every appt and treatment, etc. She is a rock star. Maegen is a cancer survivor herself, which evolved into the Team Luv'n Life and many events supporting the fight against cancer, such as years of participating in Relay for Life. Their faith keep them strong. They are an amazing and impeccable couple!
