Team Lolo

Sweet Lorelei was diagnossed with ALL, a type of Leukeimia on Friday, May 12th, 2017.  Lorelei is a vibrant five year old whose contagious smile can turn your day around!  From the words of her mother, here are the details of  her diagnosis:  

"Today, I took Lorelei to the doctors office because of bruising, pale/jaundiced skin, and mild lethargy. After talking with Stacy and Leah, I knew that I wasn't the only one to see something "off". We got a blood count from a finger prick and the doctor arranged for us to immediately head to the pediatric Hematology/Oncology department at UNC. Her initial blood count was indicative of ALL, a type of Leukemia. The initial numbers placed her in a higher risk category, however the veinous blood work gathered at the hospital placed her in the standard risk category of ALL."
