Chip & Kelly Myers

On Monday, March 9, Chip was alarmingly taken via ambulance to the hospital. Kelly writes: "As if a bacterial meningitis diagnosis wasn't difficult enough, he also suffered a stroke during the experience. If you know him, then you know that he's a fighter. And he's fought tooth-and-nail to come back to every single person that he loves and that loves him."

After a very long and worrisome week, Chip has seen some massive improvements including being able to sit up in bed, talk and eat! Still very fatigued, he has weakness on the left side of his body and will require weeks—if not months—of rehabilitation to gain his strength back. "When he's awake, with every passing day, I see my sweet husband more and more," says Kelly.
 
Chip, Kelly, and their beautiful daughters—Emily, Livia and Everly—have a long road ahead of them with an overwhelming amount of challenges and medical bills.  At the same time, with Chip and Kelly both out of work, they are experiencing a significant loss of income.
