We want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read our story, and any contributions you can make! We are Team Atlantic, a Senior Women’s Tackle Football team made up of players from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. We play full contact football and we are chasing our dream to play at the National Stage in Saskatoon in just under a week’s time. We have been training for this opportunity for over a year, coming together in March and dedicating our weekends to prepare for this.

In addition to being high performing athletes, we are mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, coaches - you all have someone like us in your life. We work hard, train hard, and hit hard! We are now faced with something out of our control, a West Jet strike that we never could have predicted. We have worked tirelessly to raise our team fees of $3200 and now they are almost doubling overnight. We are turning to you, our community for help. Any amount you can consider donating will help us reach our goal of playing one of the highest levels of football that we can reach.

We promise to make you proud out west as we take on some very tough competition. We are resilient, and we are proud to represent our beautiful East Coast!
