Help Tamika Regain Independence After a Life-Changing injury

On Christmas Eve, our family’s world was turned upside down. My sister Tamika—someone so full of life, love, and laughter—suffered a serious injury that left her needing a wheelchair. Since then, every day has been a journey of healing and adjustment. But if you know Tamika, you know she’s meeting it all with her signature strength, humor, and heart.

She’s currently in a long-term care facility, working hard through physical therapy and rehabilitation. The good news is that she’ll be transitioning home soon—but one major challenge remains: transportation.

Tamika is the kind of person who lights up every room. She’s the life of the party, endlessly kind, and has a magnetic personality that draws people in. To know her is to love her. And now, more than ever, she deserves the support to regain the freedom she once had.

We’re raising funds to purchase a wheelchair-accessible vehicle that will allow her to travel safely to medical appointments, therapy, and enjoy everyday outings that so many of us take for granted. This van would be a life-changing step toward independence and healing.
