For our Marilyn and Guadalupe’s beloved Mom

Hello Friends and Family!

I am creating this on behalf of Maria, my daughter in love Marilyn’s mother.

Maria is a 54 year old mother of three who has lived in the city of Corona for over 25 years and the last 10 years working at a local car wash. Maria is currently fighting a battle that no one should have to fight - the fight against cancer. The most aggressive form of brain cancer at that.

On this 54th birthday just on June 14, she was taken by ambulance to the ER, due to head pain and face paralyzation. It was there she was told she has three lesions in her brain causing severe bleeding. After several tests, scans and biopsy’s, it was determined she has one of the most aggressive cancers, Glioblastoma (GBM) terminal brain cancer.

Since then she has been in and out of several different hospitals. In this short time frame the tumors have tripled in size leaving no chance for treatment. Her personality has diminished and she has lost her eyesight. Maria’s prognosis is absolutely dire, just this week the doctors told her family she has weeks left, if that - as chemo will do more harm than good. She will be placed into hospice care starting tomorrow.

Her two young daughters are completely devastated, only a couple months ago she was healthy, hard working and enjoying her time with her daughters and son in law. Maria’s only close family are her two daughters, with extended family living in Mexico.

We have started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of burial costs and unexpected medical costs for her my daughter in love Marilyn and her sister.
