Help us fight this cancer

Hello, my name is Marius, and I have cancer.

I’m 33 years old from Trondheim, Norway, but I’m living in Paris, France, with my wonderful wife Valentine, and our lovely dog Jodie and cat Hibiki.

In 2006 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and I’ve gone through many medical challenges since then.

In 2017 during my studies for my Masters degree I had to have surgery to remove a very damaged part of my intestines. I thought this would be the biggest challenge I’d face, but I was wrong.

On December 23 2024 my doctor confirmed that my Crohn’s had developed into cancer. Since then, life has turned upside down.

Being a freelancer in video and photography is already tough, but when you’re forced to stay home due to illness, it gets even harder.

That is why I’m asking for your help.

I am extremely lucky to be surrounded by friends and family who are doing everything they can to help. My wife is a saint and is working two jobs - her daily job, and now taking care of our little family.

But even with all of this support and help from the people around us, we are still struggling to make ends meet. That’s why we are, unfortunately, having to find other ways to make life easier.

We know life is hard for everyone, especially with today’s economic climate. But every dollar, euro, or kroner would go a long way in helping us pay the bills and buy groceries.
