Sweet Cody Needs Life-Saving Surgery

On June 23, our beloved Cody began to bleed into his abdomen. After several ultrasounds and a CT, it was discovered that Cody has a tumor on his adrenal gland that ruptured.

His tumor is 10cm (very large) and his only treatment option is to have it surgically removed and biopsied. The alternative is to leave the mass alone, knowing it may rupture again or grow larger to the point where it restricts his vena cava.

Cody is only 7 years old and so full of life. He is back at home and acting his usual self. Though he is supposed to avoid strenuous activity, we can hardly stop him from jumping around or reaching up to look out the window.

He is the sweetest dog, the kind that kisses the vet as they draw his blood. He deserves this chance at a healthy life. His surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, and will be very expensive. We are asking for donations towards Cody’s surgery cost and pre-operative care. We thank you so much for helping us and Cody get the care he needs.
