As some of you may already know, our family is admist an unthinkable, unfathomable tradegy. We are seriously struggling with how to articulate the recent events, much less face the reality of it all.
We are beyond saddened to have to share that on Feb 6, 2020 we heartbreakingly lost our sweet, sweet angel, Sofie Rain Carter, at just two months of age. She touched the lives of SO many in her short time here with us, and will forever be remembered with so much love and joy. Complete devastation barely touches on trying to describe the emotions attached to having to even write this campaign story for our precious angel baby. We are hoping that the immense pain can be channeled towards lovingly helping the immediate family be able to focus on her upcoming service and to be able to lean on the support of others (that is SO needed!) during this time.
As you can likely imagine, having your beloved infant child pass unexpectedly - and then suddenly finding yourself struggling at the thought of how you will be able to pay for the still-lingering and substancial medical bills, and also be able to give Sofie the type of service she more than deserves - is not something her parents expected to have to ever even think about . It's simply incomprehensible. But here we are, and we are hoping to help ease the immediate family's financial burdens while they struggle to cope. We have had multiple emails, texts, messages and phone calls from all of you so graciously wanting to somehow help- THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! We kindly ask that, in lieu of flowers, you consider donating to Sofie's campaign to help cover the costly expense of our angel baby's proper service to be laid to rest, and to help towards the multiple outstanding medical bills that will still have to be addressed. We cannot express how much your thoughtfulness and prayers mean to all of us at this time. Please pray that we may somehow find peace concerning this awful tragedy. To help get the word out and possibly provide even futher relief for the immediate family, please consider sharing the link to this campaign with your friends and family.
