We are The Learning Forest and we proudly serve families in Oakland as a large family childcare home. We offer subsidized care for those that qualify. We have had several families who make too much to qualify for free or low cost care but, do not make enough to pay tuition independently. I would love to offer these families a sliding scale tuition rate and we can with your help. This fundraiser is for families of color who want to join our community but either need help with their copayment (if covered by county subsidizing) or need support to make the traditionally private payment. Your donation will sponsor a family for a school year or a few families who need help to cover their monthly copayment.
