Supporting Us With Legal Costs

Hi, my name is Cathy & this is probably the most embarrassing thing I have ever had to do My loyal honest hardworking husband has spent the last 7 months subjected to bullying & intimidation from the people that should love him unconditionally, his own family!

Phil helped his parents to set up the family business over 30 years ago, working long hours with very little pay for the first few years, whilst it became established. In recent years, other family members joined the company, although I was never allowed as I am "not family"

At the beginning of the year a certain person decided that Phil needed to exit the company with nothing, other than his vehicle, after they discovered Phil had done something he has never denied doing (although there are disputes around the finer details) Phil has been honest & transparent from the beginning, but the bullying resulted in us contacting a mediation solicitor for guidance on exiting the business. Unfortunately this has now led to a long lengthy & expensive civil lawsuit, which we anticipate will not conclude for at least another 12 months.

In the meantime, Phil has been completely cut off from his own business, including the refusal to pay him money of which he is legally entitled too.

Whilst I am doing my best to support us, having got myself a little job, it's not enough to cover all our basic living expenses & the ever increasing legal costs. Unlike them, non of which have mortgages (not everybody is gifted a nice house) we have 2 mortgages to pay, until our rental sells. Naturally we have applied for financial support and Phil is making all efforts to work ( not easy getting a job at 51, when you have had the same job since you left uni) but we are humbly reaching out for any support we can.

Once we are back on track & in a better position to be financially independant & stable, then any funds left over, will be donated to charity.
