I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Barb Williams who is currently fighting a courageous battle against breast cancer.

Barb is one of the strongest, most resilient people I know, but even the strongest among us sometimes need a little extra support. Barb’s story

I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer in December 2023. This was a fairly surprising diagnosis as I just assumed that itwas a benign cyst. After a double mastectomy in January 2024, I expected to return to work in April however because of my Oncotype DX score of 52 chemotherapy was highly suggested by my oncologist. I have other underlying health conditions that have affected the impact that chemo has had on my body. While I finished chemo last week, I don’t know when I’ll be able to return to work as I am waiting to hear if radiation is needed.
