On Friday, October 27, 2017, 8 year old Osvaldo Arias was struck by a car while crossing the street on his way home from school in Coalinga. He is currently in ICU at Valley Childrens Hospital and has a long road to recovery. He has suffered major injuries including two broken hips, swelling to his brain, an infection in his lungs, two fractured feet and mutliple more injuries. He is currently in an induced coma in hopes that the swelling of his brain reduces. Osvaldo is the eldest brother to his two younger siblings, his sister Juliet, and baby brother, Francisco. The family asks for you to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to fight this battle for their son and his recovery. Osvaldos mother is commuting back and forth from Coalinga to Madera to be there for her son and still care for her two other children in Coalinga. We are asking for your help to help Osvaldos mother with travel expenses, bills, child care, and any other expenses that arise during this difficult time. Osvaldos mother and has been unable to work since this tragic accident occurred. Any and all help is very much appreciated by the family.
