Aloha!
My name is Zion Cornog. I am 15 years old, and I've been given the opportunity to travel to Southern California this summer with the Hawaii Baseball Group. From July 18 to August 4, we'll be playing in showcases and games against top mainland teams, giving me a chance to grow as a person, compete at a higher level of baseball, and even be seen by college scouts and coaches.
I have been playing the wonderful sport of baseball since I was just five years old, and it's taught me so much about life. Whether it be discipline, friendships, or sportsmanship and humility, it has helped me grow so much. Going on this trip would be the next chapter of my story, and I would gain lifelong memories and friends from it as well.
To help make this happen, I'm raising funds to cover my travel expenses, uniforms, food, lodging, and everything in between. My goal is to raise $3900, and any donation, big or small, would be amazing.
I'm also working to contribute as much as I can myself, but fundraising is a great way for friends, family, and community to support if they feel moved to. Every little bit helps, and I'm incredibly grateful for everyone's support and help.
Mahalo for helping me chase this dream and represent Hawaii on the field, one pitch at a time.
Zion Cornog
