Support Western North Carolina Hurricane Helene Relief

We are raising money to help our friends and family in Western North Carolina hit by Hurricane Helene. Yancey, Mitchell, and Avery were some of the hardest hit areas and the damage has been devastating. Your donations will go directly to the purchase of food, water, medical relief, and other emergency supplies. Generators and fuel are also in desperate supply and we will purchase and distribute as many and as much as we can.

Tom and Pennie Dahlberg will be personally delivering supplies from Atlanta, Georgia to Burnsville, North Carolina on Sunday, October 6th, with another trip planned later in the week. We will continue to deliver supplies as long as they are needed and we have the funds to deliver them. We have direct contact with people in need in Yancey County. Supplies will be delivered to them as well as the current Command Center at Mountain Heritage High School and the West Yancey Fire Department.

We will be documenting receipts as well as photographing and videoing our deliveries.

Pennie's family is from Yancey County and the hurricane damage has been catastrophic. Many people in the area cannot leave their homes and are cut off from electricity, water, and communication service. This GoFundMe is designed to help those who need it the most from this catastrophe.
