Support Ty's Educational Journey

Hey y'all!

My name is Ty, and I'm a queer, Black author and poet in addition to being a full-time student and part-time educator. While I never thought I'd lean on the community to help fund my education, here we are!

Despite romanticized notions that all authors are rolling in dough, early career authors like myself make very little money, and I'm only just managing to get by financially at the best of times. Couple this with many institutions dragging their feet to pay freelancers (for workshops and school visits and such) and it can make for some financial instability.

Which brings me to the need for this fundraiser. While I'm lucky enough to be graduating with a Master's degree in a little over a week, I still have some tuition funds that need raising. (No tuition, no degree, it turns out!)

Any small amount helps, and I appreciate anyone able to donate or share. These funds will cover the remaining tuition and travel expenses.
