Hi. My name is Tyelle, and in 2023 my mom was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. After months of chemo and radiation she was given a clean bill of health. We thought that was the end of it. But on July 8th, 2024 her doctor found cancer in a lymph node in her pelvis. While the cancer was localized, because it was in a lymph node she's going to have to start over with chemo and radiation. It's been quite a disappointment for all of us, to say the least, to be back at the drawing board.

After a very rough start of the year with my mental health, I haven't been able to work as much as I have wanted. And now, as I take up more responsibilities around the house my work is affected even more so. Neither my mom nor I can pay for her treatments with our meager incomes. There is no other way to ensure my mom gets the help she needs and also pay for our day to day expenses: mortgage, food, utilities, etc.

Tragedy in the end of 2025

While my mom's health has improved, the bills linger. And, on Monday, Dec 15 my beloved cat, Boo suddenly suffered a massive and mysterious illness that she did not survive. Her final vet bills were nearly $5000. This was the worst possible time for this to happen. Not only did my lose my little baby Boo, but the vet bills have only dug our hole deeper.

Our Goal:

Our goal is set at $30,000, this will help cover any medical bills that my mother's Medicare does not pay for, groceries, utilities, internet, and other necessary expenses. This is a cushion, a safety net so that my mom can focus on recovering without the fear of the financial burden it may cause.
