Support Tracy and Sherri in Their Time of Need

Hello, I’m reaching out to family, friends, and anyone that can help.

An amazing family that I’ve been fortunate to be friends with for 25+ years has had issues befallen them and could use your help.

I met Tracy and Sherri when we started playing softball many years ago. Tracy and I repo’ed cars together as well!

Tracy became very sick over a year ago and hasn’t been able to work, and Sherri just lost her job as she tried to work AND take care of Tracy at the same time.

Major medical bills on top of being denied for rehab and sent home from the hospital is the real/immediate need for assistance!

Since April, Tracy’s had a heart attack, gallstones, and a blocked bile duct which required a special surgery due to the gastric bypass surgery. He had 3 arteries that ruptured due to excessive force to stop the bleeding when removing an arterial line to monitor his BP. He was bleeding internally, which resulted in several emergency surgeries. He entered the hospital with MRSA, pneumonia, and a UTI.

Tracy has Amyloidosis. This is a rare protein disease. These are in his kidneys and his heart. There is no cure.

Sherri was taking him to VCU every other week for infusions to try to slow down the progression.

Tracy also has congestive heart failure.

For the foreseeable future, chronic/constant pain is unavoidable.
