My name is Susanne Price,

I am a mother who lost a child at a very young age to senseless gun violence. My son, Andre Price Jr., was gunned down on June 27, 1995, in front of a home on Yuba Way in the Montbello neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, while visiting his cousin.

It has been 30 years since Andre's death, and the police have not identified his killer(s). Andre was 21 years old when he was murdered. He left behind a loving family, a family that is still grieving his loss, a family without resolution or any answers. Andre was a loving son, brother, and father. He was going to school for real estate and working as an electrician’s apprentice. My family is seeking answers as to who killed Andre, as it is apparent that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. After 30 years, it seems the police have pushed his case aside and forgotten about Andre, but we have not forgotten.

It has always felt as if the investigation stalled before it even got started, as if my son's life wasn’t worth the effort. However, it is well beyond time for justice to be served. My family is understandably having a hard time accepting this as a cold case. My family deserves answers. Thirty years is a lifetime of heartache for my family.

We are asking for any assistance in obtaining a private investigator and offering a larger reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for taking Andre's life. It would be greatly appreciated if your organization would provide this family with the assistance and resources you have to bring some peace to a family who has had no peace for the last 30 years.
