Hello, I am Kevin Sangster. I currently reside in New Jersey but was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica. On behalf of my family, the Fletchers, I am spearheading this effort.

As you might have heard, on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, several communities across Jamaica, including my home parish of Westmoreland, were ravaged by Category Five Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm ever to make landfall in Jamaica. Unfortunately, many lives have been lost, and infrastructure, businesses, schools, churches, and homes have been destroyed. Among the homes completely destroyed is our family home, which was around for five generations.

The rebuilding of our homes, communities, and country will be a massive undertaking. However, by the grace of God, we will rebuild and rebuild even stronger.

Several of you have asked how you can help us. In response to your requests, we thought we would use this avenue to better streamline and accommodate your generous offers of assistance. Whatever assistance you are able to give during this time is greatly appreciated. All the money raised will be used to help with the rebuilding of the family home to benefit those who currently reside there and are now homeless, like my only remaining grandparent - also the mother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to other family members.
