Hi everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this and possibly help me through the long journey I now have ahead of me. As most of you may know I was just recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer known as triple negative. I'm currently 46 years old and stage 3B. This has all happened so quickly as it hasn't been but 2 weeks since my diagnosis yet Chemo has already started today which will be weekly starting next week every Today. Chemo itself will be 5 months but will change during months 4 and 5 where I'll then be given doses of Chemo called The Red Devil. It's apparently very very hard on you. The doctors exact words were that I'm going to feel like I was hit by a train abd then it's going to stop, back up, and run over me all over again. She personally doesn't even think I'll be able to even try to work during that time and that's bad enough and i love them to death but even now they have me missing 3 days a week bc they want me to relax. That's honestly hard to do when you're thinking about everything that needs to be taken care of..i don't even know where to begin to tell you the truth, not after just taking this in w whole weeks ago. I believe the Oncologist chose this path in hopes of shrinking the tumors, both in my breast and the 4-5 Lymph Nodes it has also traveled to before surgery which they said should be sometime in Dec since the Chemo will be weekly for 5 months. Then 4 weeks or so after surgery I will then go through daily Radiation. Therefore after just speaking with both families they have decided to have me work 2 days a week each. I don't even need to tell you what a very large loss that is going to create for me monthly, giving me just one more thing to stress about. I understand that they both want what's best for me and to take the time needed to rest and recover but it doesn't change the fact that things will be extremely hard on me so truly anything you could spare would be an emense help! T his is all so much and a lot to take in at one time but I'm going to try and remain as positive and strong as I can and get through this coming out an even better person! There are several things I would be putting the funds of this fundraiser towards such as the n̈cold cap to help prevent hair loss. You unfortunately have to pay for this yourself up front at the cost of $2500 and I sadly just don't have that sitting in my back pocket, next would be general household bills such as electricity, TV internet, car insurance, groceries, rent, co-pays and prescriptions and loss of income. It all just adds up so quick as you all know. All of these things are going to affect me greatly so stressing to you what this help would mean to me, there just are no words. I can't honestly tell you how much all the support through friends and family in the way of texts, phone calls and going with me to appointments has meant to me. You all have already shown me that I can do this and that I have an amazing team behind me. I love you all dearly and don't know how I'd get through these next 12+ months without all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
