Support the Dufresne Family After Storm Destroyed Their Home

Hi Friends,

I’m Germaine, a very close friend of the Dufresne family. My family and I have been so blessed to know them and enjoy their friendship for many years, as have many of you reading this. Our hearts are saddened as we share the news that our dear friends Joe and Mara, parents to five amazing kids (three grown and two still living at home), experienced a life-changing event during the recent bomb cyclone storm in Lake Stevens, WA. A massive tree came crashing down on their home, leaving it severely damaged and uninhabitable, for likely a year or more.

Joe and Mara’s house wasn’t just a home — it was a special place for so many of us. It was a place where friends and family came together to celebrate life’s joys and find comfort in challenging times. They opened their doors to all, hosting countless gatherings that brought our community closer.

And now, this wonderful family needs our help. Rebuilding their home and recovering from this is a huge challenge, but I know we can come together to support them. Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Joe, Mara, and their kids rebuild their lives and create new memories in the home that has meant so much to so many.

Let’s show them the same kindness, generosity, and love they’ve always shared with us.
