Dave Doyle passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2026, at the age of 55, leaving behind his beloved wife of 20 years, Ann Marie, and their two sons, Tyler and Ryan.

A lifelong Scotch Plains resident, Dave touched so many lives, from coaching his sons’ PAL baseball, basketball, and football teams to his years bartending at TGI Fridays, the Stirling Hotel, and Trap Rock Brewery. Whether you knew him as a coach, a bartender, a neighbor, a coworker, or a friend, you couldn’t help but love him.

My name is Michelle Wayans, and I am a friend of the Doyle family. I organized this fundraiser to help Ann Marie, Tyler, and Ryan with household bills, utilities, groceries, medical expenses for the family, and other everyday needs over the coming months, giving them some financial breathing room as they grieve and adjust to life without Dave.

In just three days, this community has raised $45,000. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and support. I am coordinating with Ann Marie to arrange for her to receive the fundraiser proceeds to support her and the boys.
