On Friday, August 24, the De Feliz family, tragically and suddenly lost their husband and father, Tony. Tony leaves behind his wife, MariCarmen and 3 beautiful children, Brian, Daniel and Amanda. The family is devastated to have lost their beloved Tony, a wonderful family man who worked hard his whole life to make a home here in the US. Everyday for Tony was about family and what he could do to make their lives better. He was also a gifted artist. As an organ donor, Tony has left behind the gift of life for people he will never meet. That is just the type of person Tony was.
Aside from the obvious emotional toll Tony's death has taken on the family, it has also created an economic hardship they were not anticipating at this time. We are raising funds to cover unexpected medical costs and to be able to provide a memorial service that honors Tony's life, everything he meant to those around him and to make sure the family does not have to take on this economic burden, as they grieve and heal.
