Meet the Chubb family- Garret, Jessica, Callie, & Claire. Here’s their story! In summer of 2023 their home had some water leaks that were not handled properly by the personnel hired for the job. This led to extensive mold growth in their home. This was unknown until May 2024. Jessica’s health was declining and the kids were suffering from health issues as well. One of the biggest heartbreaks they’ve endure due to the mold, is the loss of their 3rd baby in late 2023. This led to an investigation of the home where it was revealed the extent of the mold growth. The mold had been growing for a prolonged period of time, leading to the contamination of their entire AC system. The toxins and spores have been circulating through their home, contaminating everything. Many of their items were beyond the point of cleaning and have had to be tossed due to contamination. Replacing these items is a huge financial burden on top of the astronomical cost of remediation & reconstruction. Once the mold was discovered they had to leave their home for their safety. They’ve been displaced for 4 months now. They have been living with generous friends & family during this time. The financial goal of this page falls so far short of what it will take to rebuild & replace what they’ve lost. However, meeting this goal would lift so much of the immediate burden from their shoulders. Let’s rally around them & lighten their load!
