Support Terri’s Medical Flight and In-Home Care

Terri Wakefield is in dire need of assistance with funds for 24 hour care. She has recently been diagnosed with ALS ( Lou Gehrig’s Disease) since moving to Jacksonville, Florida and has deteriorated quite rapidly.

I received a call on 8/16 that she coded the night before and was placed on a life support breathing machine while she was already at the point of having a feeding tube installed. At 4 am, she suffered a cardiac arrest and went without a shockable rhythm for twelve mins. Due to her story not being over, God allowed her heart to return with full brain function which is a miracle after the twelves mins of no oxygen. Terri is a miracle and serves the Creator of miracles.

However, due to the ventilator, she cannot return home without 24 hour nursing. Terri has requested assistance until more is available as the social worker has only been able to accommodate two hours of service a day. The list the insurance company has provided only gave the names of companies that are not taking insurance as payment and require out of pocket instead.

Besides money, please continue to pray for the reversal of this chronic diagnosis. If you are close to her, volunteers are also helpful in setting her up with needed care. This has been very hard on her stress levels in light of all that has been going on around her.

Terri is 43 years young and a proud mother of four. She started her own small business as a CPR Instructor teaching others to save lives. She has worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 16 years. Terri is also currently in the process of publishing her first book.

There are many other contributing factors to Terri’s condition however, the focus is on healing and restoration.
