Tekai is a 9 year old Xoloitzcuintle. I rescued him when he was one. Over the last few months he has been struggling with a disc space narrowing in his vertebrae which has been extremely painful. He is on two pain meds and a muscle relaxer two times a day but is still miserable-He has now lost all the muscle in the affected leg and his eye is now sinking in. The vet said he needs to be referred to a specialist and will need surgery on his vertebrae/most likely remove the leg all together. If I cannot raise enough money for this surgery he will need to be euthanized because of the pain. He is still healthy aside from the narrowing in the vertebrae and I can’t justify letting him go. I am desperate at this point to raise the money to save his life.

Please, help me save Tekai. My poor guy is in tremendous pain and He is not ready to go yet.
