Hi everyone, I am Tasheka, and I am reaching out to the world for help. I know everyone has their own trials, tribulations, and problems going on right now; however, Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of unimaginable heartbreak and devastation across the deep parts of Westmoreland, Jamaica. My family and friends have lost nearly everything—their homes, their crops, and their sense of stability. Many are left with no food, no clean water, and some none at all, and no means to rebuild what was torn away overnight. The people are enduring tremendous suffering, yet their strength and spirit remain unbroken. They need our compassion, our support, and our help now more than ever. Let us stand together and extend our hands to those who have lost so much, reminding them that they are not forgotten and that hope can rise again, even from the deepest pain.
