Help My Uncle Taryn After a Horrible Dog Attack
Hey everyone—friends, family, and anyone kind enough to read this,
Taryn, who’s 63, is one of the hardest-working guys I know. He started a door-to-door job last fall to make ends meet, all so he could take care of his wife and 3-year-old grandbaby, who they adopted and loves more than anything. But a few nights ago, something awful happened, and we really need your help.
While he was working door to door, a dog attacked him and ripped an 8-inch by 5-inch chunk out of his forearm. It’s a brutal injury, and he’s going to need a bunch of surgeries and at least three months to recover. To make things even worse, this happened right in a two-week gap when his health insurance was switching, so he has no coverage for the ambulance, hospital, surgeries, or anything else.
The medical bills are piling up fast, and with no paycheck coming in, he’s stressed about how he’ll keep things together for his grandbaby. That’s why I’m asking for help. We need to raise money to cover:
- The ambulance and ER costs
- All the surgeries and follow-up care
- Meds and physical therapy
- Basic living expenses to keep him and his grandbaby going for the next few months
Anything you can give—$5, $20, whatever—will mean the world. It’ll help take the pressure off and let him focus on getting better. If you can’t donate, please share this with your friends or on social media. Every share gets us closer to helping him.
My uncle’s tough, but this is a lot. Your support will give him hope and help him get back to being the awesome grandpa he is. Thank you so much for anything you can do.
With all our thanks,
Jordan M.
