Support Tanya Horsey in Her Fight Against Lung Rejection

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out today to share the story of my dear friend, Tanya Horsey—one of the most generous and giving people I know. Tanya has always been the person who lifts others up, shares her time and heart, and helps wherever she can. After enduring serious lung issues for years, Tanya was blessed with a lung transplant in January 2017, giving her a new lease on life. Unfortunately, in recent years, Tanya has courageously battled a range of health challenges, including the most recent and devastating news of lung rejection.

Tanya has undergone various treatments and fought with everything she has, but now, the mounting medical costs are becoming overwhelming. She is facing out-of-pocket expenses for home health care, medical treatments, transportation, equipment, and incredibly high prescription costs. It’s a lot for anyone to manage, especially someone as proud and independent as Tanya.

It took a lot of convincing—and prayer—for her to agree to let me create this GoFundMe for her. Tanya would never ask for help, but she is always there for others. For those of us who know her, this is an opportunity for us to be there for her. I believe this is the time for all of us to come together and be a blessing to the woman who has blessed so many.

Scripture says, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” — Proverbs 11:25. Tanya has spent her life refreshing others with her kindness, love, and generosity. Now, we have the opportunity to refresh and support her in her time of need. Even if you don’t know her, if you know me, I’d appreciate your support for my treasured friend.
