Hi, my name is Scott and I'm raising money on behalf of my lifelong best friend Stuart and his beautiful family.

On 1st April 2024 Stuart was rushed to hospital following a number of seizures. Sadly, scans revealed that Stuart had a mass on his brain, and he was later diagnosed with a high grade 4 glioblastoma which is fast-growing and aggressive.

Stuart now has a very short life expectancy. He has had surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He is fighting this aggressive form of brain cancer with all his might.

His wife Steph has already had to endure the unimaginable tragedy of losing her beloved sister 17 years ago, as well as losing both her mother and father more recently. Steph is now facing the devastating reality of losing her loving husband and father to their two girls. Your donations could help fund expensive immunotherapy treatment which could extend Stuart’s life and give him precious time with Steph and his daughters.

I am raising money to:

• Enable Stuart to access immunotherapy or alternative additional treatment which may prolong his life

• Support Stuart's family financially while Stuart is unable to work

• Create lasting family memories (Stuart would like to take his family to Disneyland Paris)

In addition to all the above, we are attempting to raise awareness. Brain tumours continue to kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Awareness of the devastation caused by brain tumours is low - less than 10% of people in the UK know this. Brain tumour research represents just 1.37% of national spend on cancer.

All of Stuart's family and friends are devastated but determined to ensure that whatever time he has left with his family is special and that Stuart can gain some form of comfort in knowing that his family have a degree of financial security.
