Support Striking Starbucks Partners in Jax FL

Hi, my name is Mason Boykin and I’m a union organizing committee member from the San Jose & Ricky Drive Starbucks location in Jacksonville, FL (Store #21922). Our store voted to unionize back in May and since then we’ve experienced various unfair labor practices (ULPs), including hours cut and store hours changing. On August 1st, 2022 our partners will be striking in response to the ULPs. We are also speaking out on our raises being withheld. Starbucks is rolling out a wave of new benefits to non unionized stores starting August 1st and denying unionized stores most of these benefits. The only change we’ll see is 15 dollars an hour starting August 29th, nearly a whole month later than non unionized stores. We’re asking for community members to show their support by donating and sharing so partners (employees) on the picket line can make up for lost wages.
