Support Sissy McKinney's Medical Journey

I am Celeste "Doshey" McKinney and the Sister-In-Law of Sissy McKinney. She is faced with a very serious medical issue with her heart and blood clots that have taken her to Duke Hospital for at least the next 10 days. She started out in Mission and they basically told the family she had 3 to 6 months to live and there was nothing more they could do. Brandy went to work to get her transported to Duke and thankfully they took her right in. Brandy, 4 Granddaughters, and husband, Phillip are all down their with her. The surgery is at 5:30 am on Christmas Eve. It is very expensive to find accommodations for this many in and around the area. Brandy has already had to pay $2,200 for 7 days for a 3 bedroom Airbnb. No one can sustain that for any period of time. Those of us in the family are helping as much as possible, but they truly need more help and I am asking to please donate anything to help them. Everyone in the community knows what a wonderful Mimi Sissy is to her babies and having this happen right here at Christmas is devastating to everyone. I never do anything like this, but I can't stand the thought of them having to worry about how they are going to be able to stay down there with Sissy. They should not have to and I am asking for a little Christmas gift for them from the many friends and family they have here in Candler.
