On November 6th, my husband Scott Ball underwent emergency gallbladder removal surgery. What started as a sudden health crisis has quickly become a much bigger challenge for our family. Scott is now also facing a diagnosis of thyroid disease, bone marrow cancer, and a rare condition called Cold Agglutinin Disease Syndrome (CADS). These new health battles mean he will need extensive treatment, and the costs are already adding up fast.

Scott has always been the kind of person who puts others first, even when he isn’t feeling his best. He’s a wonderful stepdad to our two boys, and they look up to him for his strength and kindness. Watching him handle so much with courage has made us all proud, but it’s also been very hard on our family. Our boys are worried about their dad, and the uncertainty of what comes next has been tough for all of us. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m doing my best to keep things together, but with Scott out of work, we’re struggling to cover medical bills, house expenses, and the loss of income.

Most of our family lives far away and aren’t able to help, so we’re reaching out to our community for support. Any help will go directly toward Scott’s medical care, household bills, and making sure our boys have what they need while we get through this difficult time.
