Support School of Rock Fort Washington's Summer Tour!

Hey there family, friends, and music lovers!

We are the 13 students in the House Band of the SCHOOL OF ROCK in Fort Washington, PA. We perform lots of local gigs in PA throughout the year, and this summer we have the opportunity to do a multi-state tour performing at several venues! We are super grateful and excited to take our show on the road and represent PA!

But we need your help to make it happen! The tour will be expensive, so we are asking for your contributions to make the costs more affordable for our families. Your contributions will go directly to pay for our bus transportation, lodging, meals, and other touring expenses. We have been rehearsing hard and are ready to rock, but we can’t do it without you.

What is School of Rock Fort Washington?

Music programs at School of Rock Fort Washington combine one-on-one lessons with group band practices!

School of Rock in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania proudly serves the local community and surrounding areas like Ambler, Fourtown, Willow Grove, and Worcester, with a revolutionary music education approach. Our quality music lessons are taught by real, practicing musicians and students can learn to rock out on guitar, keyboards, drums, and vocals, across many genres. Renowned for its live music scene, Philadelphia's vibrant rock, rap, jazz and pop venues located in neighborhoods all across the city showcase the world's most buzzed-about musicians. At School of Rock, students can jam together, perform live music, and develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Our students perform at community-based events like Ambler Fest and The Whitpain Community Festival. Our students also regularly play at local venues like World Cafe Live and Ardmore Music Hall!

What is the School of Rock House Band?

The School of Rock House Band music program gives students 18 and under the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in their school's House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community, and perform live shows at local rock venues throughout the year.

Performance is the core of School of Rock's educational approach. As such, they create additional opportunities for students to perform on stages throughout their community. The House Band music program allows each school's most talented students the opportunity to join a band and play routinely in front of live audiences. Once a member, students will gain real music experience associated with gigging musicians, and will become leaders and mentors inside the School of Rock community.
